Halloween always is a busy time for us. Since 1957 the club has been involved with the annual parade in Leesburg, and since the early 1960s has been solely responsible for organizing it.
The Covid-19 pandemic in 2020 forced us to change the parade significantly. Instead of people lining King Street, we took a much shorter version to the streets of Leesburg, in two parades winding 50 miles through town neighborhoods.

We thank the Leesburg Police and Volunteer Fire Company for their participation. Also the Marine Corps Reserve color guard, Loudoun Hunger Relief, the Conover and Egwuatu families, Palmer Roberson with his World War II Jeep, Nalls Farm Market for the giant pumpkin (always a crowd pleaser), and Swimkids. You are what made the parade a big success!
Since we couldn’t distribute candy along the routes we decided to pass out candy at the Ampersand Pantry’s lunch in the days leading up to Halloween.
